My name is Megan, I am a surgical tech who went back to school for nursing and decided to stay in the OR. My goal for “The Circulating Scrub” is to create awareness about OR life, provide education about all things OR, and to help current and future surgical techs and circulating nurses identify a passion for working in the OR. Also to share some humor along the way.

Having to frequently explain what exactly a "surgical technologist" is to essentially everyone has always been a (big) frustration of mine. So, I intend to use this platform to spread awareness about the different roles within the operating room and hopefully inspire others to join this profession by sharing my own experiences and passion.
